Kyees Aluminum, a division of Manitowoc Foodservice known for its development of Chill-Pak remote draft systems and Servend’s cold plate technologies used in beverage dispensing has been selected as one of Coors Brewing Company’s Gold Supplier of the Year for 2008 in recognition for the outstanding work put into the Coors “Mountain.”
The Gold Supplier award is reserved for Coors suppliers who exemplify a commitment to service, quality, cost, and innovation, and who continually demonstrate the passion and integrity required to maintain a valued partnership.
The mountain technology, developed by Mel Kyees and the Coors Super Cold Draft Team, allows servers to pour the Coors Light brand at a cool 32 °F (0 °C) continuously along with giving the over all mountain an ice over effect. Thanks to the Kyees team, this is truly an innovation that raises the bar and helps Coors be competitive in a very challenging market.
After nearly three years of development, the Coors Mountain will be in your neighborhood stores soon thanks to a joint effort between Kyees Engineering and Coors project engineer, Cecil Giarratano. | |
